Objective:Lesson 2 will be showing you how to make your web design using photoshop and you can also use paint.
Requirements: For this lesson you will need to know how to use photoshop. And it would be good to have some decent art skills
Step-by-step Process:
Open photoshop
Click New >make website template size 1,000 X 800 Pixels.
Look at your sketch of your website layout.
Using the ruler tools, create the right width and length of your total area.(Ruler tool is used to measure the website)
Important points to ponder
Whole layout - Length = 0 to 800 Width = 0 to 1000
Banner - Length = 0 to 150 Width = 0 to 1000
Footer - Length = 780 to 800 Width = 0 to 1000
Navigation Bar - Length = 150 to 780 Width = 0 to 100ish
Advertisement Bar - Length 780 to 800 Width = 650 to 800
Content Boxes - Left over area in middle after measuring out everything.
-Make your lines at the correct measurements.
-Make your banner
-Make your copyright area, which is your footer
-Make your side bars/ Navigation
-Make your navigation buttons
-Make your content boxes
-Make your Background match your website layout for neat and organized layout. (The gradient tool is used to fill in areas with color and unique designs)
-Next use the Text tool to write on banner or buttons.
